Holidays

What a lovely collection of garments and bags have left the workroom to travel far and wide.  Cathie's dress travelled to the med, Gary's shirt has been to Benidorm and Eunice finished her dress in time to take it with her to India.......  Bags have gone to Spain, the west coast and up to Scotland.  What a talented bunch.

Sue has made up some rather fantastic Liberty linen into a fantastic shirt dress, complete with collars and button holes for the first time for her.  Amanda has finally finished her lovely red dress and is rightly very proud of it.....

The Wednesday afternoon gang of Kay and Jane have been working on some rather different projects.  Kay has recovered, piped and made a patchwork cushion for her rocking chair and Jane has been making a lovely furry bed for her new kitten.

New starter Miriam has made a fabulous fairy bag for her little girl.  It's a rucksack complete with fairy door.  Watch out next month to see the wonderful pillow with fairy dresses to go with it.....  Go Miriam!

As for me....

Well the centre panel for the quilt is made, I have also been making lots of dresses, sweatshirt tops and even some simple trousers for my holidays.  My sister bought me the tee shirt for my birthday....... She knows me too well!

Well we are all off for a well earned break in August so next blog will be September when hopefully children will be the order of the day. Miriam's pillow, Gary will have made dresses for his daughter and Katie will have had her baby.........
