LATEST FROM THE STUDIO

There is lots of wonderful work going on in the Learn It Stitch It Studio this month...here's a bit of a peek at what's been happening...

Kay is back in quilting mode and has brought together a beautiful collection of fabrics for this latest make...made to look even more beautiful framed in black, really makes the colours of the fabrics pop. Next stage on this make is to layer it up with the batting and then send it to Enda for long-arm quilting...can't wait to see this finished :)

Sally is a very creative lady and decided to make a roll for her modelling tools to go in...you'll see that this lovely make also included a fully-lined pencil case at one end. This tool-roll was made from four contrasting fat-quarters.

Hayley has now joined us on a Wednesday morning at the Learn It Stitch It Studio. One of her hobbies is 1970's music and dancing. She's using original 70's patterns to boost her own wardrobe of vintage style clothes. Her first project has been this lovely spotted skirt with jean-style pockets and a beautifully concealed-zip...see if you can spot it! :)

Jane has also recently joined us and made this skirt with another concealed-zip and a bound waist band.

Cathie has made this christening gown and embroidered it with a motorcycle and saxophone to reflect the parents interests.

And we'll finish this update by introducing another new arrival. The workforce at Learn It Stitch It has now expanded with a cute new addition...meet Zippy :)
