New starts and congratulations!

Massive congratulations to Ruth and Steve on their recent wedding and big congratulations to the wonderful Charlotte on making the dresses.  She made a fabulous lace and taffeta dress for her mum with a fabulous bow and buckle detail we can't see in the photo.  The dress she made for herself was in stretch green velvet.  Great work Charlotte, she has been sewing for less than a year and having lessons for just 8 months....

Sara and Mel have been with me for a few moths too and have really made some fabulous garments.  They have tackled their fear of pattern matching, Lined dresses and made various patterns as toiles.  Sara's jacket in boiled wool....

Tracy has made her 1st quilt in some lovely fabrics and I have been honing my free-motion quilting...  more to follow next month.

Let's hear it for the boys this month too.  New starter Gabe is rightly proud of his bags from lesson one and is loving the overlocker.  Tim has produced more lovely cushions.  Come on fellas, join the fun! 

I'm still working on my sampler quilt, this months blocks....

and the baby......  watch this space!
